Drawing and measuring
Draw site boundaries, measure distances and areas, and add features and annotations.
On Pro, the map gives you tools to draw on it and measure it - site boundaries, measurements, and freeform features and annotations.
A Pro feature
These tools are Pro features, and need a role that can edit the map.
Site boundaries
Draw and manage site boundaries as polygons, with the area shown in m², hectares, km² or acres. Each boundary has a label toggle and its own stroke and fill colours and opacity.
Measuring
The Measure tool measures distances and areas on the map, with unit pickers for each, and you can save measurements with the project.
Features and annotations
The Features tool is for freeform drawing and annotation. Draw points, lines, polygons, text, arrows and callouts, organised into layers, each with its own styling - colours, opacity, font, rotation and arrow style. Features can be fixed on screen or scaled with the map.
