Getting around

The Projects list, opening a project, and the per-project rail of areas.

Manage is organised around projects. You pick a project from the list, and a rail down the left gives you that project's areas. This page is a reference for how it all hangs together.

Projects

The first screen is your Projects list - every project you can access, with search, sorting and paging. From here you open a project, and (with the right permission) create or edit one. See Projects for what a project carries.

The project rail

Open a project and the left rail lists its areas. A project switcher sits at the top so you can hop between projects without going back to the list.

AreaWhat it is for
Table EditorBrowse and edit the project's data in a grid. The main workspace.
DiarySite diary entries.
MapLocations, boundaries and overlays on an interactive map.
MediaPhotos and documents attached to the project.
Location GroupsNamed sets of locations for reporting and filtering.
FlagsRecords flagged for review, with priority and status.
StandardsThe standards referenced on the project.
Chain of CustodyRecords tracking samples to the laboratory.

ImportsBring data in from AGS or CSV files.
ExportsProduce AGS, CSV and PDF outputs.
ConnectManage external client access to the project (if your company uses Connect).

What you see depends on your role

The rail only shows the areas your role allows, so two users can see different rails. Connect appears only when your company has it enabled. See Roles and permissions.

The Table Editor is where most day-to-day work happens - start there.
