Log is the GIMLabs mobile app for capturing field data on phone and tablet - online or offline. You open a project, drop into a location, and record your locations, samples, strata and tests straight into structured data, with forms that match exactly how your team works.
It is built for the people on site - drillers, engineers and geologists - who need to capture data quickly and reliably, often with no signal, and have it flow into the rest of GIMLabs the moment they are back online.
Runs on iOS and Android

What you can do
Log records into dynamic forms driven by your configuration - tables, fields and flags, with helpers built for speed.
Preview a PDF log on the device, and export or back up your data straight from the app.
Works offline
Log is offline-first. Once you have signed in and synced a project, you can keep working with no signal - the app stores your data securely on the device and syncs it to the cloud automatically when you are back online.
How it fits with the platform
Log is where most project data is born. The locations, samples and test results you capture here are the same records you refine in Manage, pull into Excel with Calc, explore in Insight and share through Connect. There is one source of truth - Log just lets you build it from the field.
