Clearing results
Remove the sheets a Collect created and return to a clean template.
After collecting, you can wipe the results and start fresh with Clear. It is useful when you want to collect again with different filters, or hand the template on without the data in it.
What Clear does
Click Clear on the Data group. Calc removes the sheets that a Collect created - the per-table data sheets and any report or summary sheets - and returns you to the template sheet.
Your template is safe
Clear only removes collected output. The template itself, along with your edits and formatting, is left untouched. If there is nothing to clear, the button does nothing.
Clear vs. Collect again
You do not have to Clear before collecting again - a fresh Collect replaces the previous results. Reach for Clear when you specifically want the workbook back to a clean template, for example before saving a copy without data.
