# Standards

> Record the standards a project is carried out to.

**Standards** record the documents and standards a project is carried out to - the
specifications and guidance behind the work - so they travel with the project and
its exports.

## Add a standard

Choose **New standard** and record its **name**, **document title**, **scope** and
any **comments**. The list shows each standard, and you can **edit** or **archive**
it. Include standards in an [export](/manage/exporting-data) to send them on.
