# Exporting the map

> Export the current map view as a PNG or PDF.

On **Pro**, you can **export** the map you have built - base map, locations,
overlays, boundaries and annotations - as an image or document.

## Export

Use the **Export** tool to capture the **current map view** and download it as a
**PNG** or **PDF**. What you see is what you get, so set up your layers, zoom and
extent first, then export.
