# Lab workflow

> Build testing schedules and chain of custody records, and send samples to the lab.

Manage covers the journey from sample to laboratory and back: build a **testing
schedule** of what to test, raise **chain of custody** records that track samples to
the lab, follow each schedule through picking, dispatch, results and import, and
record when samples are disposed of. Both draw on the **laboratories** and test
catalogues set up for your company.
